Emily Holden is a public finance fellow at the Center for State and Local Finance (CSLF) and the Fiscal Research Center (FRC). She earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of South Florida. She is pursuing her master’s degree in economics from Georgia State University. In 2019, she interned at the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts and contributed to the 2019 Performance Report of Georgia’s Virtual Schools. At CSLF and FRC, she has worked on a variety of projects, including the Truth and Integrity in Government Finance initiative for the Volcker Alliance and the FY 2021 Tax Expenditure Report. Her research interests include the labor market, education policy, and public finance.
