Meghna Paul

Meghna Paul is a public finance fellow at the Public Finance Research Cluster (PFRC) and is pursuing her doctoral studies in public policy at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. She has seven years of work experience in policy research, policy advocacy, and policy consultancy in India. She worked as a consultant with EY, Kolkata on gender budgeting with the Government of West Bengal, India. Prior to that, she worked at the Centre for Policy Research (New Delhi) as a research associate on projects related to evaluation of state government finances and assessment of government budget allocations and expenditures on flagship social schemes in India. She has also worked as a research assistant for the review committee for the fiscal responsibility and budget management report at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (New Delhi). Meghna has an undergraduate and post-graduate degree in economics from India. Her research interests are in fiscal decentralization, public finance and budgeting.
