The Jobs in Georgia Series
One key component for developing economic development policy is knowing current jobs conditions and understanding their trends over time. The Center for State and Local Finance began publishing reports on Jobs in Georgia in 2012, and has since updated this analysis three times, giving insights into how Georgia’s economy has changed and shifted from 2000 through 2017. Each report provides details on the distribution, type, and quality of jobs and on changes in employment at the state, region, and county levels at that time. The latest report, published in 2019, also features a companion interactive tool, below, to allow readers to explore the data further.
